4.    Ensuring that the organisation is sustainable and profitable

    The PNGPCL Board directives will provide the foundation from which to build the organisation’s Strategic Plan.

        Quality and efficient service delivery

        Profitability

        Sustainable investment in infrastructure

        Exceeding stakeholder and shareholder expectations and

        Meeting legislative and community service obligations

 

   11 KEY DELIVERABLES

Below are the eleven key deliverables that the Board requires of management over the next three years.  The deliverables are all of equal priority.

1.   Develop a strategic framework that supports the Board’s strategic directives for the organisation

2.    Rehabilitate, improve and manage infrastructure requirements to support operations

3.    Maximise revenue potential and prevent leakages

4.    Formalise our delegated authority in the area of Pilotage and Harbour Management

5.    Develop and formalise Community Service Obligations (“CSO”) Policy and obligations (Internal Perspective)

6.    Rehabilitate the Business Development function within PNGPCL 

7.    Rebuild and invest in the ICT

8.    Improve Port Operational efficiencies and productivity

9.    Improve and strengthen Asset Management

10.  Review and establish Corporate Services Management Framework

11.  Develop, foster and maintain relationships with existing and potential stakeholders (internal and external).
