Occupational Health Safety and Environment (OHSE) Department plays a critical role in providing PNGPCL and its stakeholders the support in relation to OHSE functions. The support therefore requires ongoing continuous improvements and management through the management and development of the PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL) OHSE Management system, programs and activities, which seeks to cater for the health, safety and the wellbeing of PNGPCL employees and the general environment.

PNGPCL in its drive towards achieving recognised Port operational standards, the OHSE Department, under the Corporate Services Division, will strive to develop an equipped OHSE culture at all PNGPCL declared 16 port operations. This is so that PNGPCL complies with relevant legislations and other recognised regulatory bodies, both national and international.
