Visiting Personal Viability (PV) expertise witness PNG Ports Head Office
PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL) staff were privileged to have the visiting Personal Viability (PV) expert from the United Kingdom witness its 16th graduation.

Dr. Richard Teare who is the President of GULL University, Entrepreneurial Development Training Centre Limited (EDTC) PV Founder, Dr Samuel Tam and EDTC Director, Mr. Samuel Tam Junior witnessed the graduation recently at PNG Ports Head Office.

Since the commencement of this training workshop organised by PNG Ports Management, a total of 374 employees have attended the program.

PNGPCL Acting Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Jerome Peniasi said so far four ports out of the 15 declared ports have had employees completed the PV training. This includes the Business Managers in these Ports (Daru, Buka, Aitape and Kieta) whilst the other 10 ports including Head Office still have more employees to attend the training.

He said PNG Ports is committed to providing PV training to all its employees as it has spent over K130,000.00 on training expenses which includes course fees to EDTC, accommodation, meals, airfares and travel allowances for participants from outer ports.

Mr. Peniasi said “PNG Ports is committed to ensure all its employees attend PV training and will monitor and evaluate the progress of those that have attended the training previously.”

Dr. Teare and Dr. Tam both commended PNG Ports Management for ensuring that all its employees attend such a significant life changing course.

They urged the employees to utilise what they have learnt during the training to improve their quality of life, financial aspects, work ethics and habits.
